At Chapter50 Future You, our social sessions are at the heart of building community, confidence, and connection.

These sessions are open to all project members and are designed to bring people together in fun, engaging, and supportive environments.

What’s on Offer?

Our social activities offer a variety of hands-on experiences and chances to learn something new while enjoying the company of others. Activities include: 

  • Crafts, Art and Wood Carving 
  • Cooking and Baking Sessions 
  • Water Sports (e.g. Paddleboarding) 
  • Glass and/or Jewellery Making
  •  Yoga and Wellbeing Workshops 
  • Digital Support and Skills Sessions 

Each session is designed to be accessible, welcoming, and suitable for all experience levels.

Real Impact

Our social sessions aren’t just about having fun—they’re about growth:

  • In woodworking workshops, participants learned to carve their own wooden spoons, picking up skills that many now use as a regular hobby.
  • Our paddleboarding sessions introduced people to water sports for the first time, building both confidence and coordination.
  • We’ve recently added swimming sessions at Wolsingham Leisure Centre, opening new doors for fitness and social connection.
