We would like to invite you to join a research workshop exploring how new digital technologies could support patients receiving Hospital at Home care. The workshop aims to understand the views of patients, caregivers, and members of the public about new technologies that have been developed.

This research is led by staff at Newcastle University, in partnership with colleagues from Teesside University, University of Cumbria, Age UK County Durham, Voice Global and Hippo Digital.

Are you:

▪️ aged 50+ with experience of hospital-level care at home

through a Hospital at Home or Virtual Ward service OR

▪️ aged 50+ and have been hospitalised in the past year AND

have two or more long-term health conditions OR

▪️a caregiver for someone from either of the above groups.

We would like to hear your views about technologies that could be used in the future as part of Hospital at Home care, for example to help monitor patients’ health or provide treatments. We would like to know if you think these technologies would be helpful or acceptable, and any concerns you might have.

The workshop will take place on Friday 15 May at 10.00am - 1.00pm at The Boiler House, Newcastle University, Kings Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 7RU.
