Chapter 50 provides opportunities for people age 50 to 69 to meet, move and socialise in Weardale and Newton Aycliffe. As part of these ongoing activities, we’ve organised bowling at Planet Leisure in Newton Aycliffe. During the last session, Luke Walton from BBC Politics North asked if he could interview members of Chapter 50 about their experiences. This interview formed part of the Politics North programme released on Sunday 24th June, and is currently available on iPlayer here.

Chapter 50– Future You is a new programme of events and opportunities to make great life changes for everyone aged 50 – 69 years, with the purpose of ensuring we all remain healthy and happy as we age.

We’ve a  great range of events coming up, as well as ongoing opportunities to help form groups where people can get together, engage, share stories, skills and good times.
